Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data collected through www.cristinacorda.com is processed, in particular through the “Contact us” form (Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the “GDPR”).

What data

When you write through the form: your name, email address, the text of your message, the site language, the date and time it was sent and the consent wording you accepted. To limit spam, a code derived from your IP address is also stored (not the IP address itself). If you email an @cristinacorda.com address directly, we process the data contained in your email.

Why, and on what legal basis

To reply to your message (for example about performances and books), on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to contact@cristinacorda.com, without affecting processing already carried out. To protect the form from spam and abuse, on the basis of the legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not used for newsletters, advertising or profiling, and is not subject to automated decision-making.

Do you have to provide it?

Writing is optional. Without a name, an email address and a message, however, we cannot reply to you.

Who receives the data

Messages are read by Cristina Corda and, for the technical running of the site, by the person who helps her maintain it. Technical providers processing data on our behalf: Cloudflare, Inc. (site hosting, message storage, email forwarding) and Google (the Gmail inbox where notifications arrive). These providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses). The data is not sold or passed on to anyone else.

How long

Messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up the conversation, and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact; they are then deleted. You can ask for them to be deleted earlier at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–21 GDPR), by writing to contact@cristinacorda.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Cookies

The site uses no profiling cookies and no third-party analytics. Only your chosen language is saved in your browser (local storage, technical). Cloudflare may set technical security cookies. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your device’s IP address.
